Producing Unforgettable Stories, One Frame at a Time
I’m Jonathon Reily, an award-winning producer and media production expert with over 13 years of diverse experience spanning television, feature films, documentaries, digital media, and live events. My journey has taken me from remote locations in the Alaskan wilderness on Discovery’s "Yukon Men," to the jungles of Papua New Guinea for the documentary "Finding Amelia," and onto high-stakes sets navigating global disruptions during the pandemic—including my role as Line Producer on the DGA award-winning reality series "Getaway Driver."
My professional hallmark is adaptability combined with meticulous production management. I’ve successfully overseen multimillion-dollar budgets, complex logistics, and dynamic crews, delivering projects featured at prestigious festivals like SXSW and Sundance. My tenure at Jellysmack deepened my expertise in digital content strategy, leading the production of over 450 episodes that collectively reached audiences numbering in the millions.
In the face of recent industry shifts and dual strikes, I returned to formal education after 13 years to pursue my Bachelor's Degree in Entertainment Business Management at Full Sail University, where I currently maintain a 3.9 GPA. Becoming a father during this transformative period has reinforced my commitment to excellence, resilience, and ongoing professional growth.
Today, I am dedicated to producing meaningful, innovative, and high-quality content that resonates deeply with audiences. My goal remains clear—to inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting impact through powerful storytelling and outstanding production execution.
Production Logistics
My expertise in production logistics is deeply rooted in over 13 years of managing complex, high-stakes media projects around the globe. Whether coordinating film crews in the remote wilderness for Discovery Channel’s Yukon Men, orchestrating challenging expeditions like the Papua New Guinea-based documentary Finding Amelia, or navigating intricate live-event logistics at major festivals, I thrive in environments that demand precision and meticulous attention to detail. My logistical planning ensures seamless production execution, enabling creative visions to come to life despite any operational challenges or external disruptions.

My ability to communicate effectively, foster collaborative environments, and empower team members positions me as a reliable and respected leader capable of consistently driving projects to success, no matter the circumstances.
